Kimi K. Nagra

Associate Attorney | Immigration Law

Focused on business immigration, employment-based visas, and guiding clients through complex and high-stakes immigration matters with clarity and care.

As a British-born descendant of ethnic minority immigrant parents, I was inspired to practice immigration law because of its profound human and cultural impact. Immigration law allows me to work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds while helping them bring their skills, perspectives, and aspirations to the United States.

I enjoy assisting individuals and businesses as they pursue opportunities in the United States and work toward long-term stability and success. Being part of that journey is what makes this work meaningful to me.

My practice focuses primarily on business immigration, working with employers and professionals navigating both temporary and permanent immigration solutions.

Business Immigration

  • Temporary work visas including H-1B, H-2A, H-2B, L-1, TN, TD, E-1, and E-2

  • Employment-based permanent residence options

  • PERM labor certifications

  • EB-1 petitions and National Interest Waivers

  • EB-5 Immigrant Investor petitions

I take a diligent and straightforward approach when working with clients while remaining approachable and attentive. My goal is to provide clear guidance and consistent support at every stage of the process so clients understand their options and feel confident moving forward.

I strive to make the immigration process as smooth and manageable as possible by being intentional, prepared, and responsive.

I take the time to truly get to know my clients and guide them with care, clarity, and unwavering commitment. I approach representation much like a doctor with strong bedside manner. Clients receive honest guidance, realistic expectations, and dedicated service.

There is no fluff and no false promises. Every case receives focused attention and ethical representation.

Litigation Experience

I have successfully litigated hardship-based cases and secured favorable outcomes, including the termination of removal proceedings. I approach each matter with thorough preparation and careful attention to detail.

High-Stakes Immigration Matters

I treat every case as high-stakes because of the impact immigration outcomes have on people’s lives and livelihoods. Each case presents its own complexities, and I ensure that no detail is overlooked while providing focused and informed guidance throughout the process.

In 2011, while pursuing my LL.M. in International and Comparative Law in the United States, I met my soulmate. Today, we are married with two wonderful sons and have made Arizona our home, where we are building a life filled with meaningful experiences.

My own immigration journey also included helping my immediate family move to the United States. That experience has given me a personal understanding of the challenges, responsibilities, and opportunities involved in the immigration process.

What I Find Most Meaningful

What I find most meaningful about this work is knowing that my advocacy can create lasting impact. That may mean changing the course of an individual’s life, helping businesses access specialized talent, or supporting clients as they work toward long-term security and peace of mind for themselves and their families.

Advice for Clients Starting an Immigration Case

Take the time to find a trustworthy and experienced attorney who will provide honest, realistic, and ethical guidance. Avoid false assurances and focus on building a strong case with clear expectations from the beginning.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through strength training, scenic walks, and hiking. I value spending quality time with family and friends, especially when it involves cooking together and sharing meaningful conversations. I also enjoy listening to health and fitness podcasts.
